About The Position
Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op - Spring 2027 to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The Mechanical Engineering Co-Op is responsible for working side by side with engineers to tackle day-to-day engineering tasks. This includes performing invaluable testing and data collection. The Co-op will also be responsible for developing prototype test fixtures, test equipment, and production fixtures. This will involve modeling designs in CAD software, generating drawings, coordinating fabrication, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
- Must have experience with CAD software (SolidWorks)
- Understanding of general engineering practices
- Ability to collect data, analyze and prepare reports
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
- Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
