About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking Mechanical Engineering graduates to join the MEP team in its Greenwood Village, Colorado office. This is not a remote position. The role supports a variety of projects, including building MEP, HVAC, power distribution, renewable energy, EV charging, security and communications, and industrial controls. Project types may include airports, facilities, universities, and other settings.

The analyst uses technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-control client deliverables; assists project managers; solves complex problems; and collaborates across disciplines. The position also involves developing familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and with Kimley-Horn’s and its clients’ practices, procedures, and standards. The annual salary range is $92,500–$95,500.

Requirements

• An ABET-accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Use technical software programs regularly to analyze, produce, and quality-control client deliverables.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to support clients’ visions for the built environment.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and clients’ practices, procedures, and standards.
• Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting project managers as required.
