About The Position
XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems focused on research and energy development contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint. We are looking for a Structural Mechanical Engineer, who will report to the Director of Production Engineering, and who’ll be tasked to define requirements, bring innovative design cabinet structures as well validate the structural integrity for the various product of XNRGY group. The position will be critical to guarantee that all design meet stringent requirements, design robustness that suit our production manufacturing processes. As part of your role, you’ll be working with product development team and production group to ensure fully compliance design for customer as well easy to produce in a cost effective way.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Understanding of product development process with focus on requirements, design and validation of mechanical solution for sheet metal components
- Creative to bring novel and efficient engineering solution for manufacturing efficiency
- Understanding of the sheet metal production and manufacturing processes
- Leadership and drive with high desire of collaboration
Responsibilities
- Responsible of the system requirements and performance targets align with product project definition
- Lead mechanical design orientation of the engineering system with a multidisciplinary team
- Responsible of system validation, including FEA and corrective actions to ensure system performance.
- Develop automated method and design guidelines to support the designer team in their execution of production projects
- Responsible to deliver system deliverables on cost and on time
- Lead strong collaboration with sourcing, production, after-sale
- Interface with engineering service providers
