About The Position

The primary focus of the Engineer is preparing equipment lay-outs, general arrangement drawings, flow diagrams and detailed fabrication and assembly drawings. Our Engineers work closely with our Lead Engineers and Project Engineers to satisfy customer requirements and resolve design problems from the initial design to the final release of drawing to the shop floor.

Requirements

• Related bachelors degree or technical degree with equivalent years of experience.
• Extremely proficient in AutoCAD 2D.
• Professional demeanor.
• Positive interactions with co-workers and customers.
• Upbeat, can-do attitude.
• Passion for work.

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment lay-outs, general arrangement drawings, flow diagrams and detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Satisfying customer requirements and resolving design problems from initial design to final release of drawing to the shop floor.
• Calculating flows, loadings, dimensions and weights as determined or instructed.
• Using manufacturer’s literature, selecting equipment components based on workable design, and other engineering data.
• Comparing costs versus designs to determine the most cost-effective way to manufacture the equipment.
• Creating a BOM to be used for purchasing, fabrication and shipping.
