About The Position
Coffman Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with zero to two years of consulting engineering experience for its growing Raleigh office. The role is suited to someone who is passionate about mechanical engineering, values professional growth, and wants to work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team. The company seeks a self-motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented person interested in diverse projects and delivering quality engineering services. Coffman Engineers provides consulting services on commercial, retail, institutional, government, and industrial projects, among others. The Mechanical Engineer will work in a multidisciplinary environment alongside professionals in fields including civil, structural, electrical, and fire protection engineering, as well as project and construction management. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related program from a college or university.
- Familiarity with relevant mechanical, energy, plumbing, and building codes.
- Desire to be involved with professional societies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Zero to two years of experience in the consulting engineering field.
