As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll: Operational Responsibilities Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, engineering change orders, and technical records. Develop production setup documentation, equipment designs, drawings, and manuals. Design manufacturing equipment and processes that improve efficiency, reliability, and productivity. Plan engineering projects, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery. Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and support equipment qualification activities. Drive standardization and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. Leadership Responsibilities Act as the primary technical contact for customers and internal teams. Provide engineering support for equipment specification, purchasing, and troubleshooting. Partner with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Operations to resolve technical issues. Support automation initiatives and manufacturing innovation. Manage multiple engineering projects while meeting deadlines and budget expectations. Compliance & GMP Responsibilities Design equipment and processes that meet GMP, quality, and safety standards. Support equipment qualification activities (IQ, OQ, FAT). Maintain accurate engineering documentation and controlled records. Promote safe manufacturing practices across the facility. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, and Operations teams. Coordinate with vendors and contractors on equipment design, installation, and maintenance. Respond to shop floor issues and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Support automation and process improvement projects. Reporting & Systems Maintain engineering documentation, project files, and equipment records. Manage engineering change orders and design baselines. Track project milestones, technical deliverables, and equipment performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment design and operation.
  • Experience with equipment design, testing, IQ/OQ/FAT, and process improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple engineering projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with external vendors and equipment suppliers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, OTC, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with GMP requirements.
  • Experience supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
