About The Position

A BIM Manager is required for a full-time digital delivery role supporting complex infrastructure and building projects. This role is suited to an experienced BIM leader with strong Bentley Systems expertise, particularly OpenBuildings, who can lead model coordination, improve workflows and mentor project teams. The BIM Manager will provide technical guidance across multidisciplinary BIM environments, helping to maintain high-quality deliverables, efficient coordination and consistent digital standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 15 years of experience in the AEC industry, with a strong focus on BIM management.
  • Expert-level Bentley Systems experience, particularly OpenBuildings, MicroStation and ProjectWise.
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, QA/QC processes and digital delivery best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organisational, project management and communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members in BIM workflows and best practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification in BIM Management.
  • Experience with infrastructure or transit projects.
  • Familiarity with programming or automation tools such as Dynamo, C#, Python or Java.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings across infrastructure and building projects.
  • Manage and coordinate BIM models using Bentley Systems software, with a focus on OpenBuildings.
  • Resolve complex design coordination and constructability issues.
  • Provide hands-on technical support across Bentley software, including troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
  • Develop and maintain digital libraries, templates and scripts to support BIM workflows.
  • Review project deliverables against BIM execution plans, standards and client requirements.
  • Work with clients to define BIM deliverables and agreed digital delivery protocols.
  • Mentor junior team members through formal and informal BIM training.
