Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting.
- Experience with continuous improvement and capital projects.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Graniteville, SC.
Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical engineering support for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on scrap, waste, downtime, and efficiency.
- Manage/support capital projects including new machine installations and equipment upgrades.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules and coordinate vendors/contractors.
- Support equipment installation, startup, testing, and validation.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, safety, quality, and productivity.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, maintenance, and operations teams.
