As a Mechanical Engineer in the Orion Landing & Recovery Systems (LRS) team, you will: Support the development, manufacture, procurement, test, and product certification for Orion LRS component/system products including the Crew Module Parachutes (Main, Drogue, Pilot, Forward Bay Cover), Parachute Deployment System (Mortars), Crew Module Uprighting System, etc. Support Orion LRS Subsystem Integration Develop and/or maintain product performance specifications, statements of work, and supplier data requirements for LRS components Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical analyses necessary to support LRS components Provide requirements flow-down, verification, and maintain technical baseline at the suppliers
