Requirements

BS in Engineering is required (Mechanical Engineering is preferred)
Excellent data management and spreadsheet skills
Advanced knowledge and skill using AutoCAD Mechanical and Solid Works applications
Able to effectively self-direct and prioritize process/project needs
Demonstrate and live Instant Brands Values and Behaviors
Experience with vendor management and capital project finances
Highly organized and capable of operating in a demanding environment
Requires strong leadership skills while working with peers at all levels
Must be highly motivated and results oriented
Ability to be a change agent in a fast-paced organization
Must be results focused with a commitment and desire to make an impact

Nice To Haves

Experience in a 24/7 union manufacturing environment is desirable
Union experience highly desired

Responsibilities

Manage mechanical projects to include developing project timeliness, spending control, resource management, capital requests, training, documentation, and resources
Will work with other departments to support projects, including capital projects
Develop, acquire, and follow operation of both new and existing equipment
Analyze malfunctions, improve equipment reliability, and direct Engineering and Maintenance associates during installation and troubleshooting as assigned
Provide safe and effective machine designs and associated documentation as needed for equipment
Provide on call coverage as scheduled
