Requirements

  • BS in Engineering is required (Mechanical Engineering is preferred)
  • Excellent data management and spreadsheet skills
  • Advanced knowledge and skill using AutoCAD Mechanical and Solid Works applications
  • Able to effectively self-direct and prioritize process/project needs
  • Demonstrate and live Instant Brands Values and Behaviors
  • Experience with vendor management and capital project finances
  • Highly organized and capable of operating in a demanding environment
  • Requires strong leadership skills while working with peers at all levels
  • Must be highly motivated and results oriented
  • Ability to be a change agent in a fast-paced organization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a 24/7 union manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Union experience highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical projects to include developing project timeliness, spending control, resource management, capital requests, training, documentation, and resources
  • Will work with other departments to support projects, including capital projects
  • Develop, acquire, and follow operation of both new and existing equipment
  • Analyze malfunctions, improve equipment reliability, and direct Engineering and Maintenance associates during installation and troubleshooting as assigned
  • Provide safe and effective machine designs and associated documentation as needed for equipment
  • Provide on call coverage as scheduled
