Mechanical Engineer
About The Position
Our client is a very well-established ESCO who is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team within the Louisville market! This role involves collaborating and mentoring junior engineers to design the mechanical and plumbing components of energy-efficient buildings. The engineer will also be responsible for researching new client design proposal specifications, manuals, cost, and maintenance requirements, as well as reviewing contractor submittals and shop drawings. This position requires knowledge of building life safety, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire codes, including ICC Standards, NFPA, FM Global, and Federal Standards. The engineer will also assist in meetings with architects, clients, and building owners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of mechanical consulting engineering experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed PE or EIT
- AutoCAD & REVIT experience
Responsibilities
