The Mechanical Engineer will work as a part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team to design, fabricate, test, and evaluate electro-mechanical devices or systems. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related STEM/ technical field
minimum of 5+ years of professional experience
Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) experience (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
US citizenship is required
Eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Polygraph, as required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in rugged chassis enclosure design for electronics hardware, including mil-spec connectors, coatings, and hardware for MIL-810 applications.
Experience in designing chassis to survive MIL-810 testing including shock, vibration, salt fog, and submersion.
Experience working in additive manufacturing, CNC machining, sheet metal bending, soldering, and welding would be a plus
Experience setting-up, operating and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes, and/or hands-on manufacturing experience (e.g. crimp/solder harness assemblies, PCB surface mount component rework, epoxies, and composites)
