Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with across a range of building and utility systems is preferred.
  • Interest in growing knowledge base and skillsets is required.
  • Computer generated HVAC Heatloads, energy modeling and HVAC equipment sizing.
  • Technical Submittal reviewing process.
  • Bid reviewing process.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bluebeam Revu or other markup tool, Revit or CAD experience a plus.
  • International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes.
  • ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA Handbooks / Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions to complex problems facing manufacturing and related customers.
  • Design, Preconstruction Planning, Construction and Startup of mechanical systems.
  • Work with equipment partners to leverage the best technical solutions to the problems at hand.
  • Engage in Project Delivery Methods - Design-Bid-Build and Owner’s Engineer, depending on need.
  • Work with industrial facilities such as food and beverage manufacturing, agricultural processing, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive manufacturing or other leading edge industries.
  • Work with systems including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Boilers, Chillers, Compressed Gasses.
  • Conduct Energy Audits/Efficiency studies, system performance reviews, and energy compliance calculations.
  • Perform Facility reviews for code compliance.
  • Apply sustainable design strategies and LEED principles.
  • Develop Mechanical Quality Plans, including concept development, defining requirements, and solutioning.
  • Perform Equipment Sizing and Selection using utility summaries, facility layouts, and OEM resources.
  • Create Mechanical System Layouts.
  • Participate in Contractor Selection and Coordination.
