About The Position
Provide mechanical engineering support for the development, operation, maintenance, and testing of complex technology systems for DoD munition systems. Design, fabricate, modify and evaluate complicated and difficult mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems. Prepare design specifications, analyses and recommendations for presentation and approval. Plan, organize and conduct technical projects or phases of projects involving design and development of new or improved product or processes. Investigates solutions to product and/or process problems. Consolidate results of mechanical design elements for assigned projects. Provide critical test support and develops reports on findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Experience with engineering software tools, including Pro Engineer or CREO CAD, or tools sets, such as SolidWorks, C++, MATLAB and ANSYS
- Experience in performing engineering analysis on systems and components
- Ability to develop and execute test plans and analyze results
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
