About The Position

Build. Improve. Make an Impact. At Innotec, engineering isn't about sitting behind a desk creating drawings that never leave the screen. It's about taking ideas from concept to production, solving real manufacturing challenges, and seeing the results of your work every day on the production floor. We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, tackling complex problems, and finding better ways to build products. If you're energized by process improvement, automation, equipment design, troubleshooting, and collaborating with production teams to drive results, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll apply your engineering knowledge to improve how we manufacture our products. You'll spend time both on the production floor and in the office, identifying opportunities, solving problems, and implementing solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Engineering experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to balance technical engineering work with hands-on implementation.
  • Experience with CAD software and mechanical design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer solving real-world manufacturing problems over purely theoretical work.
  • Like being on the production floor and seeing how products are built.
  • Get excited about improving processes and making things work better.
  • Enjoy owning projects and driving results.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day brings a new challenge.

Responsibilities

  • Design and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Lead projects focused on efficiency, throughput, quality, and waste reduction.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues using engineering principles and root-cause analysis.
  • Support the launch of new products and processes.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment, automation, and capital improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze production data and use it to drive operational improvements.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
