About The Position
PAE is seeking a motivated and inquisitive Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 program. This paid, 10 to 12-week program provides hands-on experience in sustainable engineering design within the building design industry. Interns will work directly as part of engineering and design teams, gaining an understanding of the entire design process from planning to execution and problem-solving, on projects ranging from small retrofits to high-profile Living Buildings. The program covers mechanical, plumbing, electrical, lighting design, regenerative design, and building systems technology design.
Requirements
- 3rd year undergraduate student preferred
- Desire to work in the Building Design industry
- Passionate about sustainable design solutions
- Effective communicator
