About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering student to join our Tactical Radars & Effectors department in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The Tactical Radars and Effectors department supports the hardware development, production, and deployment of multiple defense products for Tactical Radars, Effectors, Command and Control Systems, and Naval Systems products. The products support domestic US Government customers at multiple Forces and Agencies including the Air Force, Navy, Army, Missile Defense Agency, and the US Coast Guard. The product lines also support multiple international customers through both US Government Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales.

Requirements

Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Experience with CREO
Experience with CAD software.

Responsibilities

Application of mechanical engineering fundamentals to challenging design problems.
Creation or updates of technical documentation packages.
Complete drawing designs as required, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects.
Collaboration with hardware engineering teams.
Mechanical engineering design utilizing CAD software.
Support to manufacturing and production.
Application of Raytheon hardware design processes and tools
