Mechanical Engineer Intern

Oshkosh•Oshkosh, WI
•Onsite

About The Position

At Oshkosh, we build, serve and protect people and communities around the world by designing and manufacturing some of the toughest specialty trucks and access equipment. We employ over 18,000 team members all united by a common purpose. Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day. THE ROLE As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on engineering experience supporting the design, development, testing, and validation of Oshkosh vehicles and products. You’ll work alongside engineers and cross-functional teams to apply what you're learning in the classroom to real engineering challenges. Depending on your background, interests, and project assignment, you may gain experience in areas such as mechanical design, product development, vehicle systems, research and development, testing and validation, reliability, or prototype development. Throughout your internship, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful engineering work, develop your technical skills, and see how ideas move from design and analysis to testing, manufacturing, and ultimately real-world products.
