Our internship opportunities offer candidates working toward their Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering exposure to a variety of assignments which could include: Product Development, Failure Analysis, Value Engineering, Design, and Verification Testing. This position has been designated as On-Site.

Requirements

  • Views problems as opportunities and can adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances.
  • Demonstrates aptitude for independently progressing work with limited supervision.
  • Pursuing a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Engineering Physics with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
  • Minimum Work Experience: At least one internship or work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or leadership of work projects
  • U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Engineering team to create custom solutions.
  • Collaborate with production and general support as needed.
  • Assist with the design, audits, and part creation.
  • Provide start-up support and process improvements during the launch of projects.
  • Trouble shoot and improve new/existing manufacturing processes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of process documentation.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Support MDI process of problem solving, and continuous improvement as assigned.
