Imperative Care is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the development and verification of next-generation surgical robotic systems. This summer will be focused heavily on design verification testing, test fixture and manufacturing tooling development, process development, failure investigation, and documentation. The intern will work closely with senior engineers to execute tests, improve test methods, document results, support root-cause investigations, and help build the tools and processes needed to mature the design toward manufacturing readiness. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who likes building, testing, troubleshooting, and turning messy engineering problems into clear data and actionable next steps.
