Mechanical Engineer III
About The Position
Preparing designing specifying, analyses and recommending for presentation and approval. Has technical responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects or phases of projects involving design and development of new or improved product and/or processes. Investigating solution to product and/or process problems. Consolidating results of mechanical design elements for assigned projects. Coordinating the efforts of drafters/designers, engineering technical, and machine shop personnel as required by assigned projects. Conducting independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component or process specifications and requirements. May provide recommendations and assign work to technical drawing staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Five or more years of work related experience
- Extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices and methods
- Senior level of proficiency to apply significant job-related experience
