  • Industrial wastewater treatment, including pumps, blowers, tanks, chemical feed, solids handling, instrumentation interfaces, and compliance support.
  • Commissioning, startup, system turnover, equipment walkdowns, testing, and operational-readiness activities.
  • Utility-system boundaries, tie-in points, maintenance ownership, RFQs/RFPs, technical bid evaluations, and vendor service agreements.
  • SAP or another CMMS, RCFA, FMEA, reliability-centered maintenance, predictive maintenance, and equipment lifecycle analysis.
  • Aluminum, steel, chemical, power, pulp and paper, automotive, or similar process-industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for compressed air, cooling water and cooling towers, wastewater treatment, HVAC, pumps, piping, valves, heat exchangers, and related balance-of-plant equipment.
  • Support commissioning and startup through system walkdowns, punch-list resolution, functional and performance testing, turnover, and maintenance handoff.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, rotating, and utility-system issues and support urgent plant needs when required.
  • Develop and review scopes of work, technical specifications, bid packages, vendor proposals, drawings, P&IDs, and equipment documentation.
  • Coordinate OEMs, contractors, service providers, and internal teams to safely execute maintenance, inspections, repairs, and improvements.
  • Improve equipment reliability, maintainability, energy performance, standardization, and lifecycle cost.
  • Develop and refine PM/PdM strategies, criticality rankings, spare-parts recommendations, job plans, and inspection frequencies.
  • Lead or support RCFA, FMEA, bad-actor elimination, capital projects, and reliability reporting.
