In this hands-on role, you will be based entirely on-site at our Los Angeles facility, collaborating closely with the Space Resources Program team. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer III to contribute to critical electromechanical system design from requirements definition through detailed design, analysis, and test. You will design and integrate electromechanical assemblies for extreme thermal, dynamic, and pressure environments including high-temperature and molten material applications. You will partner with thermal and systems leads to develop robust, producible solutions leveraging advanced materials and manufacturing processes, and support hardware testing to retire critical risks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, excels at technical problem-solving, and is comfortable working within technical risk and schedule constraints.
