Join us as a Mechanical Engineer II, where you'll contribute to the design, development, and execution of innovative automation solutions that help our customers solve complex manufacturing challenges. The position is onsite at our facility in Nashville, TN. Travel up to 20% may include domestic and/or international customers, supplier, and JR Automation locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, Associate's degree (2-year) with experience from accredited program (ABET/EAC), or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years’ work experience as a Mechanical Engineer
• Experienced with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD)
• Proficient in the application of standard and advanced engineering principles, practices, and procedures
• Breadth and depth of experience to enterprise engineering problems
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish tasks
• Able to quickly recognize and fix common engineering problems based on experience, including review and critique of others' work

Nice To Haves

• FE Exam, or EIT desirable
• Current or prior JR Automation experience, or experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
