Requirements

  • Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with CREO
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • DoD Clearance: Secret
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM discipline.
  • Experience in mechani­cal or electrical design, engineering, and analysis.
  • Experience in manufac­turing methods and pro­cesses, including ma­chining, casting, forging, welding, and bonding.
  • Experience in mechani­cal drawing practices, dimensioning, and tolerancing.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute knowledge of engineering practices and problem-solving to perform mechanical design and development activities.
  • Support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from program or team experts, and work on projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions.
