The Mechanical Engineer I is responsible for designs of current products, minor calculations, and contacting vendors for quotes.
Requirements
- Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required
- 0-2 years Engineering experience is required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is preferred
- 1 year of working in an Engineering environment is preferred
Responsibilities
- Working with current designs through the use of AutoCAD 3D
- Performing minor calculations such as (weights)
- Using existing spreadsheets for the completion of calculations
- Copying and completing datasheets for parts procurement
- Assist designers to obtain 3D vendor drawings of parts
- Creates 3D Models from existing equipment for submittums to the Client
- Organizing specifications and drawings in the proper place for Engineering team to review
- Assist in creating/copying proposal drawings on time
- Answering minor questions on equipment design
