About The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Designer to join our team in a role that blends hands-on product design with opportunities for continued professional development. This position is well suited for an engineer with a solid foundation in mechanical/structural design who is ready to contribute independently, collaborate with senior engineers and designers, and take ownership of project components from concept through production.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Engineering Design or similar field of study
Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or comparable CAD software
Working knowledge of standard product design practices, manufacturing processes, and regulatory guidelines
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering (structural focus)
2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical or structural design
Structural detailing experience

Responsibilities

Design and model mechanical/structural parts and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor
Review of Architectural and Structural plans for projects
Generate and maintain detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings to support development and production
Participate in sustaining engineering activities to improve or maintain current product types
Assist other designers when needed and support structural layout development for new and existing designs
Perform research to evaluate feasibility, functionality, and performance of components and systems
Collaborate across departments when needed to meet engineering and production deadlines
