About The Position

BRP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Advanced Concepts to contribute to shaping the vision and development of new types of innovative products. This role involves contributing to product architecture, participating in all development phases, and developing strategies to steer the organization toward new product offerings. The engineer will work on various stages of the product development process in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, participate in component development, and oversee the production and assembly of prototypes. The position also requires managing various systems according to set deadlines.

Requirements

Mechanical engineer or equivalent
Ten years and more of relevant experience
Strong proficiency in English and French (spoken and written)
Proficiency in CATIA, parts, assembly, mechanism and FEA
Enjoy working with little information; not affected by “blank page syndrome’’
Comfortable working with various technologies and types of products
Proven innovator
Desire to continuously learn and grow professionally
Willingness to travel on occasion
Interested in new tech trends

Nice To Haves

Good knowledge of automotive mechanics is an asset
Keen interest in recreational powersports products
