About The Position

This role involves providing complete machine design with minimal assistance. The Mechanical Engineer 2 will ensure effective communication with customers, product and project managers, and team members regarding machine design, customer requirements, operator operation, and schedule planning. The position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing support during part manufacturing and machine assembly for these projects. Additionally, the role includes training other Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technicians.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to provide complete machine design with minimal assistance.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, product/project managers, and team members.
• Experience in managing multiple projects.
• Familiarity with part manufacturing and machine assembly processes.
• Ability to train junior engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete machine design with minimal assistance.
• Ensure effective communication with customers, product and project managers, and team members in machine design with respect to customer requirements, operator operation, and schedule planning.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Support during part manufacturing and machine assembly as required for multiple projects.
