This position has a target start date of Summer 2027. Your responsibilities will include engineering design reviews, technical due diligence, project development support, and conceptual design of electric power generation projects and facilities. You will also have the opportunity to support project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract development. This position will require you to analyze power projects and distill technical concepts and information into actionable conclusions and recommendations on which project stakeholders rely to develop, design, construct, operate, and finance energy projects being built in the United States and overseas prudently. You will work with multi-discipline project teams to provide a variety of services, such as the following: Advise power project developers to support new utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, thermal, and other projects; Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing; Model economic, technical, and market scenarios for grid operators, utilities, and research agencies; and Develop planning studies and business cases for utilities, power producers, and government agencies.
