The successful candidate will initially be based on a project site for the first several years. During this period, the role will involve implementing and coordinating the mechanical, electrical and technical system scopes on the assigned project, while supporting corporate objectives outlined in this position description and assisting, as required, with additional projects as directed by the Corporate Building Systems Manager. This role reports directly to the Corporate Building Systems Manager. The Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator will be trained in the corporate Building Systems process and is responsible for its implementation and day-to-day execution on assigned projects. The role includes supporting quality assurance and control, startup and commissioning activities, and project closeout for complex, multi-disciplinary commercial construction projects. This position requires effective communication with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and site supervision, while maintaining a strong understanding of project specifications and drawings. The Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator supports trade coordination within project teams, monitors the quality of technical system installations, and assists in the commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems in the field. The role also includes applying the corporate Building Systems process consistently across assigned projects.
