About The Position

ALTEN Technology USA is an engineering company that partners with clients across aerospace, medical devices, robotics, automotive, commercial vehicles, electric vehicles, rail, and other industries. As part of the global ALTEN Group, it supports product development from consulting through full project outsourcing. A Mechanical Designer will lead the design of robust hardware and apply knowledge of engineering technologies, military and commercial design specifications, and mechanical systems design tools. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent relevant experience and registration.
Typically 3–10 years of aerospace or defense experience.
Solid understanding of multiple engineering technologies.
Detailed knowledge of military and commercial design specifications.
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools relevant to mechanical systems design.
U.S. person status (U.S. citizen or permanent resident) is required due to the nature of the work.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening is required as a condition of hire.
