Mechanical Designer
About The Position
Clark & Enersen is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join its Mechanical Engineering team in its Fort Collins, Colorado office. The employee-owned, full-service design firm provides architecture, engineering, interior design, landscape architecture, planning, and related specialized services. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects across the country in a team-based environment focused on exceptional service, integrated design, creative solutions, and employee growth. The position involves developing BIM documentation for HVAC and plumbing/piping designs, assisting with project design in coordination with architects and engineers, and supporting construction estimates, schedules, BIM standards, and interdisciplinary coordination. The designer will also help maintain and develop client relationships and perform other duties as requested. This is a full-time, day-shift position in Fort Collins, Colorado. The stated pay range is $30.00–$40.00 per hour, and travel is negligible.
Requirements
- 0–10 years of professional experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in Architectural/Engineering Technology or Computer Aided Drafting and Design preferred.
- Experience with Revit preferred.
- Knowledge of MEP systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop BIM documentation for HVAC and plumbing/piping designs.
- Assist with project design while working closely with architects and engineers.
- Develop construction estimates and schedules.
- Develop BIM standards.
- Coordinate designs with other disciplines.
- Maintain and develop client relationships.
- Perform other duties as requested.
