About The Position

Develop layout drawings and corrugating line layout drawings for new sites, as well as integrate new equipment in existing corrugators. This role involves some travel, technical calculations, layout drawings, and final installation drawings.

Requirements

• Must be able to travel throughout the United States, and possible international travel, up to 30%.
• Associate degree in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Accuracy/Attention to detail.
• Ability to plan projects and follow timelines.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to explain technical data/information.
• Problem solver.
• Ability to work independently.
• Organizational skills.
• Communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor Degree.
• 1 year minimum experience.
• SolidWorks experience is a definite plus.
• Up to 2-5 years prior experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop layout drawings and corrugating line layout drawings for new sites.
• Integrate new equipment in existing corrugators.
• Perform technical calculations.
• Create layout drawings.
• Create final installation drawings.
• Maintain all CAD related software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks).
• Understand all CAD related hardware and software configurations.
• Stay current with CAD updates, trends and latest releases.
• Participate in CAD seminars and/or classes to stay current with technology.
• Perform installation measure ups.
• Conduct mechanical design projects (to survey the project in the field).
• Travel on layout design reviews with the sales department to customer sites.
• Travel internationally to Fosber Headquarters (Lucca, Italy).
• Potentially travel to a field installation in Europe.
