About The Position
As a Mechanical Designer II in AEI's Chapel Hill office, you will convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information from the basis of design, users, project partners, field surveys, and code research. AEI is a leading, multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm with over 900 employees across 22 offices, dedicated to planning, designing, and delivering high-performance, innovative, and holistic engineering solutions for the built environment.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or HVAC Design or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in computer aided design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ability to work with engineering and project management to apply design codes and specification requirements.
- Strong spoken and written communications skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
- Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- Effective working individually and within team environments.
