About The Position

The position will involve developing an overall understanding of the engineering process and the typical daily responsibilities associated with a career as consulting engineer. Arora provides clients in the aviation, transportation, education, government, and commercial/institutional sectors with engineering services for intelligent infrastructure solutions. Through smart design, construction management, and facilities maintenance management, we rethink industry needs to help keep clients on the cutting edge and add value to a project. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Engineering at an accredited university, preferably a junior level status.
  • A minimum of two years of engineering courses.
  • Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently when needed.
  • Ability to find work to do when needed.
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience using computer-aided engineering systems.
  • Ability to write a well-organized report describing the technical work performed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the typical engineering process.
  • Develop an understanding of submittal components and their various requirements.
  • Support field surveys
  • Develop an understanding of how to perform calculations.
