Mechanical Design Engineer
About The Position
We have a customer in Wickenburg, AZ who has an immediate long-term, DIRECT HIRE opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer. In this role you will work as a Design Engineer and Product owner for several lines of heavy road maintenance equipment. Specifically, you will use SOLIDWORKS to improve equipment through continuous improvement and cost reduction techniques as well as being directly involved in improving product designs for more efficient and effective machining, welding and assembly and more. This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE opportunity and must be worked at company facility in Wickenburg, AZ. Company does have a 4 day/10 hour Monday-Thursday work schedule. Salary is in the 90K-110K range with relocation bonus as needed.
Requirements
- BSME or similar degree.
- 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Design and Engineering.
- Strong background using SOLIDWORKS.
- Good communication skills.
- Interest in long-term employment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with heavy equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, welded assemblies and similar.
- Experience with machining and welding processes.
- Strong project management skills.
