ECI leads the design of analytical equipment for rigorous chemical processes in damascene, wafer-level packaging, clean and wet etch processes, with product lines like Prima, Libra, Quanta, and QualiSurf. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work in the Mechanical Department of KLA ECI division based in Totowa, NJ. This role involves the design process of the mechanical part of new systems, encompassing conceptual and detailed design using CAD systems (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD), detailed drawings, and design review presentations. The engineer will design mechanical parts for new chemical monitoring or management systems, modules, assemblies, or parts, and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering groups and R&D to define and review designs and test plans. Additionally, the role includes creating COs to release new parts, assemblies, systems, and supporting documentation.
