About The Position

As a Mechanical Design Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will provide engineering support to the largest Honeywell repair and overhaul facility globally, design and develop new ideas and solutions for current products repairs, modifications, and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. Position will be responsible for supporting shop manufacturing needs, create repair documents, support repair process improvements, lead and support engineering improvement projects, and 3D modeling and CAD design. Products supporting will include PSH APU and engine components. Define and support Factory of the Future projects utilizing automation, digitization, and AI. You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager and you’ll primarily work out of our Phoenix, AZ location in a fully onsite position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 1 or more years of professional engineering experience
  • U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
