About The Position

As a Mechanical Design Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will provide engineering support to the largest Honeywell repair and overhaul facility globally, design and develop new ideas and solutions for current products repairs, modifications, and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. Position will be responsible for supporting shop manufacturing needs, create repair documents, support repair process improvements, lead and support engineering improvement projects, and 3D modeling and CAD design. Products supporting will include PSH APU and engine components. Define and support Factory of the Future projects utilizing automation, digitization, and AI.

Requirements

• Expertise and knowledge in technical projects.
• Ability to find innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies.
• Experience supporting shop manufacturing needs.
• Experience creating repair documents.
• Experience supporting repair process improvements.
• Experience leading and supporting engineering improvement projects.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD design.
• Experience supporting PSH APU and engine components.
• Experience defining and supporting Factory of the Future projects utilizing automation, digitization, and AI.
