About The Position
The Control System Engineering & Electrification (CSEE) organization is seeking a Mechanical Controls Hardware Systems Engineer. The candidate will lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle across complex mechanical systems, partnering closely with suppliers, design teams, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and program leadership to develop robust component solutions. This position drives technical rigor through requirements management, decomposition, and supplier engagement to ensure components meet system and program objectives. Requirements
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
- Minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
- Experience using computer aided design (CAD) software such as NX, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

- Experience with DOORS, MATLAB, or other modeling software
