About The Position

GBA is a top Design Build Company and is looking for a Mid-Senior Level Mechanical Construction Estimator in Lenexa, KS. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical estimating, project scopes, costs, and pricing, along with proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Suite. The ideal candidate will have field experience in mechanical installation projects and experience with conceptual and design-build estimating.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or related engineering field, OR Journeyman/Master in Plumbing or HVAC, OR 7+ years of mechanical estimating experience.
• Minimum 3 years of conceptual estimating and design-build estimating experience with a mechanical contractor.
• Strong proficiency with digital take-off and estimating software.
• High-level understanding of project scopes, direct and indirect costs, and pricing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and scheduling software.
• Familiarity with construction scheduling and LEED requirements.
• Strong communication skills for both internal and external collaboration.
• Initiative, professionalism, and ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Field experience in mechanical installation projects preferred.
