Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of automotive mechanic or mechanical repair experience
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes
  • Ability to explain technical repair information to non-mechanical individuals
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Experience resolving complex issues while maintaining professionalism
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Email)
  • Ability to navigate multiple software systems and screens simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • ASE Certification
  • Experience using labor guides such as AllData or Mitchell
  • Familiarity with automotive scan tools (preferred but not required)
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, investigate, and process mechanical claims in accordance with warranty guidelines
  • Analyze vehicle repair concerns to determine claim approval, denial, or required next steps
  • Communicate professionally via phone and email with dealerships, repair facilities, and vehicle owners
  • Clearly explain claim decisions to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Guide customers through the claims process, including obtaining repair estimates and required documentation
  • Maintain detailed and accurate electronic claim records using internal systems
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while addressing customer questions and concerns
  • Collaborate with fellow claims analysts and leadership to ensure consistent, fair, and high‑quality service
