The Power House Mechanical Engineer is an entry-level engineering position responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of the facility's Power House and utility systems. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, technicians, and Power House personnel, this position will gain hands-on experience with critical plant utility systems including boilers, steam, compressed air, cooling water, water treatment, nitrogen, vacuum systems, pumps, piping, and related mechanical equipment. This position works closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, EHS, contractors, and equipment vendors to assist with troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment improvements, system monitoring, and engineering projects. The ideal candidate is a motivated, hands-on individual who is interested in developing their mechanical engineering skills within a manufacturing and industrial utility environment.
