The Mechanical Assembly Technician will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment that requires mechanical assembly operations. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient and accurate production of our flexible pipes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred.
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience or related field.
  • Candidates must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly and equipment operation.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Welding and NTD experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanics, metal forming, and/or extrusion equipment and processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Committed to Safety by performing all required tasks in accordance with established Company Policies, Procedures, and Safe Work Practices.
  • Set up and operate machinery used in the manufacturing of flexible pipes.
  • Perform mechanical assembly operations as part of the equipment setup process.
  • Conduct basic routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Completes required documentation records, as required, in accordance with procedures.
  • Document and report any issues or discrepancies in the equipment set up, production, quality, maintenance, and any other issues encountered.
