As our Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician – you will report to the Bevcorp Assembly Manager.

Requirements

  • Excellent attendance is a requirement.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum 2 year electrical experience building and wiring electrical panels.
  • Knowledge of basic UL standards.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 year electrical degree or electrical certification experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety in all job functions for both self and team members.
  • Complete required BBSO’s and near misses.
  • Responsible for accurately clocking in and out of job/rework/project/builds by utilization of E10.
  • Wire control panels with precision, ensuring neatness and adherence to professional standards.
  • Read and utilize engineering documents such as schematics, diagrams and basic blueprints for assembling machines to proper specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks, resolve problems, and perform re-work as necessary.
  • Assist in training new team members and support other manufacturing areas as needed.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, work areas, equipment, tools and machines in a safe, neat and orderly condition.
  • Work with supervisors to manage panel schedules and inventory requirements.
  • Engage in continuous process improvements and develop innovative solutions for increased efficiency.
  • Document needed changes for continuous improvement by way of Engineering Request procedures.
  • Conduct electro-mechanical assembly, including work on pneumatic and fluid systems.
  • Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts and pieces using a variety of hand tools and equipment.
  • Ensure assemblies meet UL standards and utilize test equipment effectively.
  • Perform component verification, drilling, tapping, and mounting as required.
  • Conduct final testing with power and perform thorough quality checks.
  • Willing to travel on short notice as part of the apprenticeship program.
  • Collaborate with managers and the engineering team to ensure accurate assemblies and consistent documentation.
  • Understand and adhere to electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
