About The Position

Omni Aerospace is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team. This role involves setting up and operating various assembly tools, sealing parts, drilling and fastening components, installing hardware, and tracking inventory. The technician will be responsible for reading blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate assembly of aerospace machine parts. Requirements

• Aerospace machine parts assembly experience
• Ability to read and understand complex work instructions, blueprints, and specs
• Experience with all types of assembly tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Teamwork and the ability to work with diverse people and groups is required
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical assembly

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate a variety of assembly tools
• Sealing parts
• Drills, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens subassemblies into structural assembly, using hand tools and Pneumatic tools.
• Installing hardware
• Track inventory to ensure proper number of parts for assembly
• Read blueprints and specs
• Perform other duties as requested
