As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of TMS products, basic wiring and panel layout, performing maintenance tasks, integration, and repairs, following both written and verbal instructions. You will work with mechanical tools and electrical test equipment, generate and update documentation, and ensure compliance with the MSQS system, all while supporting the company's goal of Total Customer Satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years experience in mechanical assembly and testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates in MET or equivalent preferred.
  • Sound and vibration equipment assembly experience preferred.
  • Soldering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete mechanical assembly of TMS products, basic wiring and panel layout.
  • Perform maintenance tasks, integration, and repairs.
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Work with mechanical tools and electrical test equipment, such as meters, shakers and test chambers.
  • Generate and update as built documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with and support continuous improvement of the MSQS system.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly and testing of components for TMS products.
  • Complete builds and testing by following established written procedures.
  • Follow steps on the product job router, write legibly, sign and date router when steps are completed.
  • Ensure all products meet established test and/or calibration specifications and notify the Team Leader when they do not.
  • Understand and use proper ESD procedures as outlined in the ESD procedure.
  • Observe all safety precautions per department guidelines when operating test equipment, and follow all safety rules and keep area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
