About The Position

The Mechanical Assembly Tech will be responsible for obtaining certifications in J-STD and ESD, maintaining effective documentation for quality assurance, and ensuring a neat and tidy work area. This role requires consistently meeting quality and production goals by following assembly instructions and engineering drawings. The position involves effective communication across all organizational levels, close collaboration with OE, QE, and ME teams to improve quality goals, measuring TAC and cycle times to meet customer demand, and completing daily logs for downtime, scrap, and production.

Requirements

• Communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand and apply knowledge gained from work instructions
• Ability to work in an empowered team-work based organization
• Basic mechanical skills – work with hand tools
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 1 to 3 years of Mechanical Experience

Responsibilities

• Obtain Certification in J-STD

• Follow and perform assembly from work instructions and/or engineering drawings

• Work closely with OE, QE and ME to establish and improve quality goals

• Complete and maintain daily log books for downtime, scrap, and production
