The Mechanical Assembly Lead is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packing according to specifications. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in manufacturing roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Detail-oriented and consistent.
Works well as a productive member of a team.
Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that work is performed safely and that proper use of PPE is adhered to in the area.
Leads by example through the 5S Methodology.
Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.
Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts the materials handler if supplies are needed.
Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
Exhibit teamwork in all you do, maintaining a positive and team-based attitude.
Support peers in times of high demand by working hours assigned and overtime as required; also, comply with scheduled start/stop times and break periods for the facility.
Ability to confidently communicate, interact, and build customer relationships supporting Maverick Power’s culture.
Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.
